TRIFT ALLIANCE is a Pan-African clinical research network dedicated to nurturing, expanding, and strengthening the clinical research ecosystem across Africa. With a clear mandate to position Africa as a global clinical research hub, TRIFT ALLIANCE offers end-to-end clinical research services, strategic partnerships, and innovative solutions that bridge the gap between the global demand for clinical trials and Africa’s underutilized research potential.
Africa represents 17.5% of the global population and bears over 50% of the world’s infectious disease burden, yet it contributes to only 2.5% of global clinical trials. This vast untapped potential, combined with Africa’s growing healthcare infrastructure and diverse population, makes the continent a strategic destination for clinical research.
